OPENING HOURS

At The Red Lion Inn, we welcome you all year-round, however, please note our opening hours do reduce in the winter months; our bar will be closed for drinks on a Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from November until April. If you are a staying with us, please note there are plenty of other establishments to dine at and enjoy a cosy evening with drinks, so you won’t be stuck for choice!

The Whittling House, Bistro 23, The Hope & Anchor or The Sun Inn are all a short 20 second walk from The Red Lion Inn which we can highly recommend on the days we are closed.

During the winter months (November – March inclusive), we create a cosy atmosphere with our hearty brunch menu to warm you up on a Friday & Saturday from 09:00 – 12:00; so come along and enjoy our warm fires which provide a comfortable retreat from the chill. Our wood fired pizzas will be served on a Friday & Saturday from 12:00 – 20:00 only from November to March also.

As spring arrives, our summer hours (April – October inclusive) allow you to enjoy longer days and the beauty of the Northumberland coastline. During this time, we serve our delicious wood-fired pizzas daily, making your visit even more enjoyable.
