CLOSED: Please note, our bar is closed on a Tuesday, & Wednesday from November to April, however, our bed & breakfast will resume as normal.

Our breakfast menu is served to the public on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday & Monday from 09.00 – 12:00. Walks ins welcome, table reservations encouraged.
Indulge in our delicious homemade wood-fired pizzas, crafted with care and baked to perfection. Served on a Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 12.00 – 20.00. Enjoy them in our inviting beer garden while soaking up the sunshine and taking in the stunning views of Alnmouth Estuary; please note, we do not have an alternative menu.
Important Note: We regret to inform our customers that we cannot accommodate gluten-free options due to limited space in our pizza prep area, which makes it difficult to prevent cross-contamination. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
WINTER FOOD OFFERINGS Brunch & Wood Fired Pizza: Available from November to March
During the colder months, our brunch menu is served on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday from 09:00-12:00, featuring a variety of hearty, wholesome dishes designed to warm you up. Our delicious homemade wood fired pizzas are served on a Friday & Saturday from 12:00-20:00.
Evening Meals: Regretfully, the structure of the business has had to change due to the current climate in hospitality & we do not serve evening meals all year round, however, we run our delicious wood fired pizza menu instead. Please note, we have not offered pub meals since 2021.
If you are staying with us, there are plenty of restaurants in Alnmouth, so you won’t be stuck for choice; The Whittling House, Bistro 23, The Hope & Anchor & The Sun Inn – all a short 20 second walk from The Red Lion Inn. You will need to book alternative restaurants during the winter months when we are closed on a Tuesday & Wednesday.
